What you can hear back when you refer a patient.
When you refer a patient for Spravato, you stay their clinician, and you decide how much you hear from us. Many psychiatrists simply send us the patient and hear how it's going from the patient directly; others like an update after the evaluation or as treatment goes on. Either is fine, and we'll always call if something needs your attention.

What updates can referring clinicians receive?
| When | What we can share, if you'd like it |
|---|---|
| After the evaluation | Whether Spravato is a fit, and if not, why and what we suggest instead. |
| When treatment starts | The treatment plan, the starting dose and schedule, and the office your patient attends. |
| During treatment | Progress updates, including how mood scores are trending, and any changes to dose or frequency. |
| If something needs your attention | A direct call: blood pressure concerns, safety concerns or medication questions. |
Tell us on the referral, or with a call to (908) 450-7002, what you'd like to hear back. With your patient's permission, we'll share what's useful to you.
Who manages what?
We manage the Spravato treatment: the evaluation, the REMS requirements, the insurance approval and appeals, every dose and the monitoring after it. You keep managing everything else, including the oral antidepressant if your patient takes one, any mood stabilizer, and their other health needs.
Questions go both ways.
If you change a medication that matters for Spravato, such as a stimulant, a benzodiazepine or an MAOI, let us know. If we see something you should know about, we'll call. One phone number for everything: (908) 450-7002.
Send us a patient. We'll take it from there.
